lori loughlin daughter oliva jade lied sentencing college admissions scandal

Days before fallen former “Full House” star Lori Loughlin faces sentencing for her role in the college admissions scandal, new court documents reveal that she and her husband Mossimo Giannulli knowingly forced their daughter Olivia Jade Giannulli to lie  and cover for them with her high school guidance counselor.

Lori Loughlin And Mossimo Giannulli Forced Daughter Olivia Jade To Lie

Fox News obtained court documents prepared by U.S. Attorney Andrew Lelling which summarize the case against Loughlin and Giannulli. The new documents unveiled a startling revelation.

In 2018, Loughlin and Giannulli allegedly instructed Olivia Jade to lie to her high school guidance counselor in an effort to avoid any red flags.

The prosecution contends their intention was to keep their college admissions scheme a secret and avoid any questions about her being admitted to the University of Southern California as a member of the crew team even though she had never rowed.

The couple’s now 20-year-old daughter reportedly asked her parents at the time if she should list USC as her top school choice. To that, Loughlin responded, “Yes…. But it might be a flag for the weasel to meddle.”

That’s when documents say Giannulli jumped in to take things even further by saying “F— him,” adding that the counselor is a “nosey bastard,” according to prosecutors.

In fact, when Olivia Jade was flagged as a member of the crew team in March of 2018, her guidance counselor called USC.

During that call, her counselor told the university that he had “no knowledge of [her] involvement in crew and based on what I knew of her video blogging schedule [I] highly doubted she was involved in crew.”

Before the scandal hit, Olivia Jade was a popular social media influencer and YouTube blogger.

Mossimo Giannulli Loses It On Counselor

Court documents state that when Giannulli heard the counselor had contacted USC, he became enraged and confronted him.

The fashion designer reportedly “aggressively asked what [the counselor] was telling USC about his daughters and why [the counselor] was trying to ruin or get in the way of their opportunities.”

Giannulli then “bluntly stated that [his younger daughter] was a coxswain.”

Afterwards, the school guidance counselor sent Giannulli an email saying that he had contacted USC. This time, the counselor told them that Olivia Jade was “truly a coxswain”. And it appeared that the matter was closed.

Lori Loughlin Nervous About Colleges Admissions Scandal Sentencing

The allegations in these court documents certainly do paint a picture of premeditation and culpability. On the part of Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli as they prepare for their sentencing on Friday.

In May, the couple finally took a deal and plead guilty to charges in the college admissions scandal. But a judge still needs to approve the deal and effect their sentencing.

Under the terms of her deal, Lori Loughlin would spend two months in prison. While her husband, Giannulli, would serve a whopping five months behind bars.

Last month, a source told Entertainment Tonight that Loughlin was feeling nervous going into her sentencing.

“This has been a long road, and waiting for their sentencing has been painfully stressful,” the source explained. “She is exhausted and is ready to get past this point. She’s spending time with her family and trying her very best not to think about what lies ahead, because she realizes at this point it’s out of her hands.”

“Her focus is to spend as much quality time with her daughters as possible as she knows she might not see them for a while,” the insider added. “They don’t want to focus on the negative and are doing their very best to avoid spending the last days in fear of what’s to come.”

Of course, we’ve all seen how this ends. Hollywood stars rarely meet the same justice as everyday people like you and me. Regardless of their guilt, or the severity of the crime.

What do you think of Lori Loughlin’s undoubted slap on the wrist now that this new evidence has come to light?
