The Ultimate Fighting Championship’s busy schedule is only going to get busier this week, as the fourth season of Dana White’s Contender Series will kickoff on Tuesday.
Unless you’re new to MMA, you likely know that DWCS is an opportunity for rising and veteran fighters to secure a UFC contract. The bouts take place at the UFC’s Apex Facility in Las Vegas, and after each event, White decides if any fighters will receive a UFC contract or a development deal.
Some of the notable names that have moved onto the UFC from the show include Sean O’Malley, Edmen Shahbazyan, Maycee Barber, Dan Ige, and Sodiq Yusuff, among others.
Recently the UFC shared out the video below, which is a promo trailer for the upcoming season, which begins August 4th.
