Khabib Nurmagomedov has gone undefeated to date and is widely considered to be one of the greatest fighters ever. But, Conor McGregor continues to pile on the UFC lightweight champ for his wrestling centric style.
McGregor takes another poke at Khabib’s style
Recently Nurmagomedov responded to an Instagram post from Joe Rogan, which included a video clip of Justin Gaethje hitting pads. The latter is booked to fight Khabib on October 24th at UFC 254.
In Khabib’s response, the galaxy class wrestler warned Gaethje that he intends to take the interim champ to the “deepest ocean” and “drown him”.
Well, according to ESPN, McGregor proceeded to fire this tweet at Khabib, before deleting it.
“In other words – I’m going to be running around the outside of the cage, s******g my pants. And within the first ten seconds of the fight, I’m diving at his legs for a good whiff of his jockstrap.”
Khabib laid out his strategy for Gaethje, so Conor provided his own interpretation ?

Not surprising
Since McGregor was taken down by Nurmagomedov several times in their 2018 bout, and submitted in the fourth round, he has repeatedly criticized the star for his wrestling centric style.
Nurmagomedov, it’s worth noting, has submitted three of his last five opponents.
