With a vicious onslaught, Michael Chandler cemented his standing in the lightweight division with a first round knockout of Benson Henderson at Bellator 243.
The bout served as the main event to the card, which aired live on Paramount Network and streamed on DAZN.
Chandler improved to 21-5 overall with two of those wins coming against Henderson, a former UFC champion. The former Bellator titleholder has scored back-to-back wins and is 5-1 over his last six.

In the co-main event, Timothy Johnson earned the biggest victory of his career, stopping Matt Mitrione in the opening round via strikes.
Myles Jury topped Georgi Karakhanyan and Sabah Homasi downed Curtis Millender in other main card action.
