Ahead of Jorge Masvidal’s biggest fight to date, EA Sports has revealed ‘Gamebred’ will join Israel Adesanya on the front cover for UFC 4. Not surprisingly, both stars are featured extensively in the game’s reveal trailer.

Recently EA Sports shared out the video below, which shows Masvidal doing some backyard fighting, as he did way back in the day. The trailer also features another new venue option in the game, The Kumite, inspired by the martial arts classic film, ‘Bloodsport’.
Some of the other fighters featured in the reveal vid include Weili Zhang, Joanna Jedrzejczyk, Rose Namajunas, Francis Ngannou, Nate Diaz, Dustin Poirier, Valentina Shevchenko, Yoel Romero, Jose Aldo, Kelvin Gastelum, and of course, Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Masvidal will challenge welterweight champ Kamaru Usman today at UFC 251. The middleweight champ Israel Adesanya is expected to face Paulo Costa later in 2020.
Other details
The new game is going to be released on August 14th for PlayStation 4 and Xbox ONE. EA Access subscribers, however, will get access on the 7th (according to this report from Forbes).
It’s not clear yet when UFC 4 will be available for PlayStation 5.
For folks who pre-order the game, heavyweight boxing stars Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua will be available as fighters. It’s being reported that the grappling and clinch controls have been overhauled and changed, since UFC 3.
