Tom Brady

Tom Brady is just full of big surprises lately. First, the NFL player with the most rings in Super Bowl history announced that he was going to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after 20 years with the New England Patriots. Now, Tom Brady is stepping up in a huge way to help with coronavirus relief efforts by partnering with a private airline to donate ten million meals to the national food bank network Feeding America.

Earlier this week, the superstar QB put his heart into action by funding a huge initiative to help Americans in need.

“Proud to partner with @WheelsUp for their #MealsUp Initiative to supply 10 million meals to @FeedingAmerica,” Brady tweeted this week.

The legendary QB’s donation equates to a $1 million contribution to Feeding America.

Russell Wilson And Ciara Donate AS Well

Brady isn’t the only NFL star teaming up with Wheels Up for this initiative. Seattle Seahawks star Russell Wilson and his wife Ciara have pledged to do so as well.

“Humbled for @Ciara & I to partner with @WheelsUp on the ‘Meals Up’ Initiative in pledging 10 Million Meals to @FeedingAmerica,” Wilson tweeted.

“The reality is that a lot of people are facing tough, tough times right now, and we’re all facing it in different ways,” Wilson said after announcing his donation, according to ABC News.

“There is going to be people let go of their jobs. I think about the young kids across the country that may not have a mom or a dad, or their family situation may not be the best financially, and they’re going to be looking for food.”

We Applaud These Celebrities For Stepping Up

In trying times like these, it’s hard to find things to smile about. So it really warms the heart to see celebrities who have the means to stepping up to help those in need!
