Piers Morgan Hammers Prince Harry For Accusing The Media Of Exaggerating Coronavirus

British television host Piers Morgan let loose on Prince Harry on Monday. However, it wasn’t because the ex-Royals severed ties with four UK tabloids — although, that might have stung a bit.

Morgan was infuriated with Harry’s comments on a podcast as he appeared to accuse the media of exaggerating about coronavirus.

And, the U.K. Express reported that their feud with the media was only worsened when Harry recently described that COVID-19 crisis as “better” than the media were making it out to be.

Prince Harry Slams Media On COVID-19 Coverage

Here’s what Harry said:

“I think what has happened especially in the UK is the very best of the human spirit and it’s proving that things are better than we are led to believe through certain corners of the media,” Harry said. “Certainly when you’re in isolation it can be very worrying when you’re sitting there and the only information you’re getting is from certain news channels. But then if you’re out and about and you’re on the right platforms you can really sense this human spirit coming to the forefront.”

Morgan Fires Back At Harry 

This enraged Morgan, who said that if he were to meet Harry, he would remind him that “the world is in a war at the moment with a killer virus that is destroying lives.”

“And what was Harry’s contribution to this debate other than making it all about him again?” Morgan said. “It was actually to do this in a podcast to claim that we are all exaggerating this war.”

After reporting on the latest coronavirus death numbers, Morgan said, “Thank God the British media is showing the reality of this.”

“I don’t want to hear from these two if they want to announce a new war with the media. Shut up, seriously,” he added, referring to Meghan and Harry.

Now, they are lighting up the media by breaking up with UK tabloids. Mr. and Mrs. Markle have been in a battle with Daily mail for months since they published her private correspondence with her father. Now, they will no longer grant interviews with the tabloids.
