Maryna Moroz Vs. Mayra Bueno Silva

Round 1: The unbeaten Bueno Silva lands early with a spinning back-kick. Series of quick knees lands by Buena Silva and she’s showing off some excellent striking. Moroz is the more active fighter, barking out with each strike. Bueno Silva with a big combination, as each strike she has been throwing has come with more attitude and power compared to that of Moroz.

Moroz scores with a takedown with just over 90 seconds to go, working with elbows to try and steal back the round. Good action from Moroz and the round ends.

Round 2: Moroz shoots for a takedown and Bueno Silva blocks it and works for a choke before that is stopped. Big head-kick finds a home by Bueno Silva, as she definitely has the power advantage to combat the effectiveness and output of Moroz. Really strong first couple of minutes for Bueno Silva, but Moroz earns a hip toss takedown and into the guard. Great finish on top for Moroz to end the round.

Round 3: For as good as that first minute or two was in the opening round for Bueno Silva, these last eight minutes have been all Moroz. She tries for another takedown without much effort and is denied. Good knee from inside the clinch by Bueno Silva followed by a big, stiff kick. She senses a need to get active and is, throwing heavy strikes that are landing. Bueno Silva has hurt the lead leg of Moroz and is going for it. Double-leg takedown attempt by Moroz is defended once more.

Bueno Silva all over her, opening a huge cut on the forehead of Moroz. She’s backing her down, stalking Moroz with under 30 seconds to go. She senses the need for the finish, but Moroz remains standing tall until the very end.
