Bruno Silva Vs. David Dvorak

Round 1: Silva getting off to an early start, knocking Dvorak to the canvas. Silva, a teammate of UFC bantamweight champion Henry Cejudo, controlling the Octagon from the middle in his second appearance for the promotion.

Big-time shots land by Silva as he drops Dvorak and tries to end it with a submission but the horn sounds. A huge front-kick placed right under the chin likely earned Silva the round.

Round 2: Dvorak with a sense of urgency here in the early moments, really trying to get after it. Silva looking to score with another takedown and possibly finish this one on the ground. Solid combination for Silva, a veteran of The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America.

Silva catches the kick and earns the takedown, but Dvorak is able to use his length to gain control. He is looking to gain full-mount, but settles for half-guard and goes to work with elbows from in close. Silva explodes out and gets to his feet without taking on much damage.

Round 3: The training with Cejudo is paying off as Silva shoots in and drags Dvorak to the ground with a takedown. He’s latched on to the back with over three minutes to work. Upon getting both hooks in, though, Dvorak slips out and gets free. Dvorak appears to be the fresher fighter here in the closing moments.

Dvorak catches a kick and lands one of his own as Silva flees. Big knee from Dvorak from inside the clinch and he’s scoring. Perfectly landed right to the chin by Dvorak finds a home and he’s working fast, so fast that he walks right into a right.
