The 27-year-old Lee (18-5) is coming off a first round knockout of Gregor Gillespie. He dropped a pair of bouts prior to that to Rafael dos Anjos and Al Iaquinta, and faced Tony Ferguson in 2017 for the interim lightweight title.

Oliveira has strung together a six-fight win streak featuring four submission and two knockout wins since a 2017 loss to Paul Felder. He owns a career record of 28-8 with 18 submission wins.

Veronica Macedo Vs. Bea Malecki

Round 1: Malecki brings a Muay Thai world title with her to the Octagon along with a perfect record to take on Macedo in this bantamweight bout. Macedo has also competed in the flyweight division, scoring the quickest submission at 69 seconds.

Malecki looking to use her 10-inch reach advantage, controlling the center and working her kicks early. Out of the clinch, Macedo lands a nice power combo and she is looking to continue to land.

Macedo is connecting with the more impactful punches, getting inside of the reach advantage with combinations. With every kick she throws, Macedo is following up with a big right hand. Malecki backing her down but not really doing much with control, standing firm and tight.

Round 2: More of the same from Macedo, as she storms out to start the round with an all-out attack of strikes. Macedo pulls guard and that allows Malecki to get in some good shots as she looks for a limb.

Macedo might have used up her gas tank, as Malecki lands and forces her to attempt a weak takedown. Maecdo has some nasty bruising on her thigh and is stuck on her back. Malecki landing with several shots from side-mount and she’ll just wait for the referee to stand them up.

Still a minute to go in the round and Macedo is trying to throw everything she has left at her. Malecki continuing to back her down as she gains momentum in this fight. Malecki all over her in the final seconds but we will go to the third.

Round 3: Macedo tries to bring this to the ground again but Malecki is having none of it. Within the first two minutes, she’s tried twice and failed. Exchange as both connect, and again, an exhausted Macedo attempts to pull guard. Malecki peppering her with short, quick shots in bunches and it might be enough to get the stoppage. Referee is checking it over as she starts to work the face.

Just over two minutes remain and Malecki is landing with heavy, heavy kicks to the body. Spinning back-fist by Macedo lands but Malecki walks right through it. Macedo lands with a big pair of strikes and these two are now standing and trading. Good combo of hooks for Macedo and she drops her with just over 30 seconds left. Great final flurry by Macedo might be enough to win her the round and this fight.
