Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Coronavirus hygiene and Queen

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly panicking over the coronavirus outbreak as the couple self-isolates in Canada with baby Archie. Meghan is forcing staff to wear latex gloves while her husband is having a particularly hard time coping. The Duchess told friends that Prince Harry feels “helpless” and worried about his grandmother Queen Elizabeth and father Prince Charles catching coronavirus.

In a Daily Mail exclusive, a close friend revealed: “Meghan said they are grateful, especially Harry, that they could spend time with his family before all this insanity began.” Also adding, “Meghan said [Harry] has been in contact with the both his father and grandmother. He urged them to stay safe and to take extra precautions.”

Meghan Markle And Prince Harry’s ‘Strict Hygiene’ Coronavirus Protocols

Daily Mail’s source went on to say that Meghan is going above and beyond to protect her family. This includes requiring “everyone on their team, the people who buy groceries and run errands, to wear latex gloves at all times and are to follow a strict hygiene protocol.”

“Only a select few will be able to interact with her, Harry and Archie. She said she’s keeping it to a bare minimum,” the friend added.

While self-isolating in their Vancouver home, the couple is also working with experts to see how they can best serve the public during this difficult time.

Harry and Meghan believe coronavirus is also creating a mental health crisis, which makes them feel “compelled to help.”

Meghan Markle Sees Coronavirus As A ‘Mental Health Crisis’

“Meghan said just because they are isolating themselves, it doesn’t mean they can’t help. They aren’t just sitting around at home doing nothing,” the insider continued. “Meghan told her inner circle that what’s happening in the world right now is a mental health crisis.”

“She said they are working with a mental health non-profit to create some sort of online support system for those most vulnerable, like new mothers suffering from postpartum depression,” the friend said. “People who lack support systems need reassurance that they are not alone.”

Harry and Meghan only recently returned to Canada after completing their last official duties as members of the British royal family.

The source said that Meghan admitted that since they got home, Harry “feels a bit helpless and isolated out in the middle of nowhere, but is grateful that they are all together as a family.”

Meghan And The Royal Family

This latest insider intel comes on the heels of Meghan criticizing the British royal family to her friends. The Duchess reportedly called their recent trip to the U.K. “confirmation” that she and Harry “made the right choice in parting ways” with the family.

“She said [the trip] has been a confirmation that they made the right choice in parting ways. There’s no warmth between the family members and she wants to raise Archie in a household that is filled with laughter and joy and lots of hugs,” another source said.

“It’s still weird to her that no one hugs and that everyone is so uptight, especially Kate,” the insider added. “She said it’s obvious that Kate and William do not approve of their choices and that you could cut the tension with a knife. Kate barely even looked at her and their interaction was kept to a bare minimum.”

Hearing that Meghan and Harry are losing sleep over the Queen’s health amid coronavirus is quite the pivot. Many have seen Harry and Meghan’s treatment of the royal family as disrespectful these past few months. So it might come as a shock that the couple is actually losing sleep about how they are faring during the coronavirus pandemic.

Given the stress they’ve added to the royal family, particularly the aging Queen, maybe it’s best that Harry and Meghan continue to ‘social distance’ themselves. That might go a long way towards keeping the Queen in good health until coronavirus goes away.
