Weeks after announcing her decision to step down as a senior member of the British royal family, Meghan Markle faces new public humiliation as she’s “snubbed” by Disney. Moreover, sources report that Meghan’s big dream of starring in a superhero film is squarely out of her reach.
Meghan Markle Gets “Snubbed” By Disney
After leaving the royal family, Meghan reportedly thought it would be easy to resume her acting career as an A-list Hollywood star.
However, the Duchess is quickly learning some hard life lessons. First, that that she was dead wrong about her chances at securing a deal with Disney, who immediately “snubbed” her.
“Meghan needs Disney more than Disney needs Meghan,” an unnamed Disney executive told the U.K. Express. “She’s a controversial figure. There have been reports of a deal but that’s not true beyond the voiceover work.”
Meghan Markle Wants To Star In A Superhero Movie
This comes after it was reported that Markle told Nick Collins, her Hollywood agent, to get her a role in a superhero movie.
“He has said she wants her return to acting to be part of an ensemble cast in something like a superhero film,” a source close to Collins told Daily Mail. “He’s actively seeking such a movie for her. He’s saying she is available and open to the best offers.”
“Meghan is planning a series of meetings in Hollywood,” the source continued. “She has already done the voiceover for Disney and now word is out that she’s looking for a superhero film, as a voiceover or even on screen.”
The insider went on to say that even Meghan Markle herself knows that her own acting abilities may be limited.
“She knows she can’t carry a film as an actress,” the source explained. “People won’t be able to get past the fact she’s Meghan Markle.”
Casting Her Is Considered Risky
It should come as no surprise that Markle wants to launch her Hollywood comeback in a superhero movie, as it is these films that find the most success these days. Especially if there’s a chance she and husband Harry will be forced so start paying their own bills in future.

Second, unfortunately for Meghan, however, casting her in one of these movies is considered by executives to be a risk for a film that could be a surefire hit without her.
“Hollywood has relied more and more on superhero films to produce surefire hits,” the source said. “They are aimed at a global audience and generate billions at the box office.Why take a risk when you can make a superhero film and generate a guaranteed hit? In this day and age, studios are averse to taking risks. The costs are simply too high.”
Many see Meghan and Prince Harry’s behavior over the past few weeks as nothing short of obnoxious. So they’ll be glad to hear that a Hollywood comeback is not coming easy.
Perhaps Meghan will think twice before she publicly speaks out against the Queen and the royal family again. So far, the scorned family seems far more tolerant of her than these Hollywood executives.
It will be interesting to see how Meghan Markle and husband Harry fare in their post-Royal life. Right now, Meghan seems desperate for a payday.
