The gear wrestlers wear during their matches needs to fit flawlessly to prevent bits from falling out. Unfortunately, Daniel Bryan experienced problems with his gear at Elimination Chamber, leading to an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction.
Ring Attire Loses Focus During Drew Gulak Match
Daniel Bryan was ultra-focused during his match against Drew Gulak. Unfortunately, his ring gear wasn’t. Bryan’s delicates were exposed during two separate occasions during the match. As it was on live television, many people caught a glimpse of the WWE legend in his full glory.
The reason why Daniel’s “chicken tenders” were fully visible during the match could actually be down to Drew Gulak. Whenever his “meat truffles” were on display, it is clear that Drew is pulling the tights. Of course, tights are always pulled during a wrestling match. It does not mean that everyone’s “elderberries” are on display. However, it was probably a combination of poorly fitted attire and the pulling of the tights.

WWE fans saw the humor in the situation, even though the situation is probably a little embarrassing for Daniel. They responded on social media with some funny comments. So, hopefully Daniel Bryan can see the humor in the situation as well.

Wardrobe Malfunctions In The WWE
As mentioned in the introduction, ring gear is a delicate thing in wrestling. Daniel Bryan is not the first, and he won’t be the last to have a wardrobe malfunction.
One other superstar who encountered an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction is none other than Becky Lynch. The incident took place at the 2019 Royal Rumble. Becky entered the rumble to replace an injured Lana, but soon encountered some problems herself. During her encounter with Asuka, her breast popped out of her top. The WWE quickly responded by blacking out the footage.
A similar incident happened to Sasha Banks. Only a few weeks before the rumble, she had her bum exposed on television. During a segment with Natalya, her trunks came down unexpectedly. Like they did for Becky, producers turned the broadcast black until Banks could recover.
These Things Happen!
It baffles me to see just how upset certain people get with these wardrobe malfunctions. I understand that this is a PG show, but this is not something that wrestlers can be held responsible for. Even if you try wrestling with your whole body covered, your clothes will still move.
Fortunately, most of the WWE universe took the incident with lots of humor. We hope nobody gets in trouble because of the incident, as it is something that cannot really be avoided all the time.
Daniel Bryan is now officially a member of the wardrobe malfunction group. But, like other incidents, this will be forgotten as fast as it happened. And, if your kids intend on watching Elimination Chamber on the WWE Network, we are sure the WWE will edit it properly. And even if they did watch it, I didn’t even notice it myself while watching the pay-per-view. So, no harm done there!
