Deiveson Figueiredo came in heavy for his bout tomorrow with Joseph Benavidez at UFC Norfolk, and can’t win the flyweight title as a result. But that didn’t stop the fighters from firing intense glares at one another at the weigh-ins.
Figueiredo was tapped to fight Benavidez for the flyweight title that bantamweight champ Henry Cejudo is relinquishing. But, because Figueiredo came in at 127.5 for Saturday’s headliner, he’s ineligible to win the belt.
