President Donald Trump gave his fourth State of the Union address of his first term on Tuesday night. Prior to that, Cabot Phillips of Campus Reform headed to American University in Washington D.C. He interviewed college students about State of the Union quotes. The students were quick to judge President Trump’s words until they learned that the quotes were all actually said by the 2020 Democrats running for president.
Trump Derangement Syndrome
These days, it’s so predictable that those with Trump Derangement Syndrome will blindly disapprove. But, yet it’s still somehow stunning to see the complete ignorance of students at a well respected college. These young adults are so indoctrinated that they so easily believe that anything they disagree with obviously comes from President Trump.
Cabot Phillips claimed that he had an “advance transcript” of the State of the Union. When he read these quotes, the students were horrified. They prejudged Trump by a speech that hadn’t even been given yet.
The media will often run interference for Democrats. Protecting liberals is a pet project for the mainstream media. They have been successful in breeding ignorance in these students as this video demonstrates.

So let’s see what exactly the 2020 Democrats said that had these college students so aghast.
Biden: “Put Y’All Back In Chains”
The most inflammatory reaction was for a quote from then-Vice President Joe Biden when he claimed African Americans would end up as slaves if Republicans retook the White House in 2012.
“They’re gonna put y’all back in chains…”, President Obama’s Number Two said.
The students were also appalled at Elizabeth Warren and Mike Bloomberg’s quotes they thought must have come from President Trump:
Elizabeth Warren: “This Administration’s success will be judged on whether it can eliminate Kim’s nuclear weapons and verify they are gone.”
Mike Bloomberg: “These kids think they’re going to get killed anyway because all their friends are getting killed…They just don’t have any long-term focus or anything. It’s a joke to have a gun. It’s a joke to pull a trigger.”
Elizabeth Warren: “When Palestine and Hamas puts its rocket launchers next to hospitals, next to schools, they’re using their civilian population to protect their military assets, and I believe Israel has a right, at that point, to defend itself.”
