As far as Jon Jones is concerned, UFC 247 was a victory for himself.
While many contested the end result of the main event, Jones is not one of them. And neither is his team.
The group got together to re-watch Jones’ fight with Dominick Reyes. What they saw was a victory once more for the reigning champion.
Jones set a new UFC record for title wins with the decision, giving him 14 in such fights.
“Just finished re-watching UFC 247 with the coaches,” Jones posted. “We are confident in our victory.”
“Magical,” McGregor posted in regards to news that he helped spike subscriptions for ESPN+.
“You win some.. you lose some.. but you always learn some!” Gonzalez posted. “Most of the time all you really need to do is remember to smile through it all! Happy I got time to go out there & do my thang! Everyone is a critic.. but not everyone can do what we do in that cage!
“Losses are apart of this sport & the most important part is how you deal with them. I only get better Thank you for all the support & all the love #TeamGonzalez … thank you to my sponsors… thank you Invicta FC.. thank you to my team & coaches.”
“When in Rome …or rather when in Houston with Justin Tafa,” Sanko wrote. “Big thank you to Frank Hickman for having clean feet…and the timing on that Tai Tuivasa cameo was incredible. There’s no doubt I have a very fun job.”
“Fiiiiiiight weeeeeeeek!!!!!” White wrote in regards to Saturday’s card.
