Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are used to the liberals of Hollywood kissing up to them, so it had to come as an embarrassing shock to them over the weekend when super star Brad Pitt took a dig at them during the BAFTA Awards.
Pitt Gives Hilarious BAFTA Speech
Fox News reported that Pitt had actress Margot Robbie accept his Best Supporting Actor BAFTA for Once Upon A Time In Hollywood because he was not able to attend the ceremony due to “family obligations.” He then had Robbie read excerpts from a speech he prepared.
“He starts by saying, ‘Hey Britain. Heard you just became single. Welcome to the club,’” Robbie said, referring to last week’s decision the United Kingdom made to leave the European Union.
“He then says, ‘Thank you to the Academy for this extreme honor.’ He says he’s ‘always been a bit intimidated over here given the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts and the titans that have come before, so this is especially meaningful,'” Robbie continued.

Pitt Takes Jab At Harry And Meghan
After he thanked some people he worked with on the movie, Pitt shifted to taking a jab at Harry and Meghan for leaving the royal family and the U.K.
“He says that he is going to name this Harry,” Robbie said as she held up the award. “Because he is really excited about bringing it back to the states with him… His words, not mine!”
Harry And Meghan Leave Royal Family
Harry and Meghan shocked everyone last month when they announced that they would be leaving the royal family and moving to North America.
“We now plan to balance our time between the United Kingdom and North America, continuing to honor our duty to The Queen, the Commonwealth, and our patronages,” the couple said. “This geographic balance will enable us to raise our son with an appreciation for the royal tradition into which he was born, while also providing our family with the space to focus on the next chapter, including the launch of our new charitable entity.”
