The Most Disgruntled Superstars in the WWE of 2019

There have been many unhappy WWE superstars in 2019. Some of them have already left the company, while others remain but may be looking to be released. So, let’s look at the most disgruntled superstars from this year.

Former WWE United States Champion Rusev

One superstar who has revealed his frustrations with the company is none other than former US champ Rusev. He has been vocal on social media about being underused throughout the year.

Of course, things did change for Rusev in the second half of this year. But, the storyline with he, Lana, and Bobby Lashley has come under fire by lots of fans. Nevertheless, it seems that Rusev is getting more attention.

Jordan Myles Now Known as ACH

Jordan Myles tops of the list of disgruntled employees. A few months ago, he accused the WWE of creating a racist T-shirt for him. He ranted on social media, stating he quit the company. Shortly afterwards, the company released him from his contract.

Dean Ambrose – Now Known as Jon Moxley

Dean Ambrose was stuck in the company with his contract in the first quarter of 2019, and it showed. Ambrose was just going through the motions. He vented his once he left the company. He claimed he got frustrated with the WWE’s creative process and that this was his reason for leaving. His current status on AEW shows that it was worth leaving the WWE.

Luke Harper – One of the Most Outspoken Unhappy Wrestlers

Luke Harper’s complaints were similar to Dean Ambrose’s. However, he went about it quite differently. Harper posted several messages on social media taking aim at the company’s management. He requested his release in a public manner on social media. And, he was only released from his contract a couple of days ago.

Mike Kanellis – Still on WWE Contract

Mike Kanellis has not been silent about his troubles with the WWE and recently requested his release. Unlike Harper, he has not been released from his contract yet and is still backstage waiting for an opportunity.

The reason for his discontent is quite similar to other superstars. He’s not being used and is stuck in storylines that don’t go anywhere. Many believe his release is now just a matter of time.

Former WWE Women’s Champion Sasha Banks

After losing the Women’s Tag Team Title, Sasha Banks disappeared from wrestling for some time. At the time, people speculated that she was unhappy with the company. She later revealed she was struggling with mental health problems.

Despite her claim of mental health problems, many people still believe there was some serious contention between Sasha Banks and the WWE. Since her return, her role has remained in the background. Time will tell what the truth behind her break really was.

More Unhappy Superstars Requesting Their Release in 2020?

I don’t think we’ve seen the last of disgruntled superstars being released from the WWE. With so many people inactive backstage, it’s only a matter of time before others follow. Whether they wait out their contract or get released by WWE remains to be seen.
