Lori Loughlin Felicity Huffman

Lori Loughlin reportedly feels “betrayed” by her youngest daughter, Olivia Jade. The reason? 20-year-old Olivia Jade Giannulli returned to YouTube after her mother had specifically told her not to make any more videos until the college admissions scandal blows over. While at the same time Felicity Huffman, who recently finished her prison sentence after pleading guilty, revealed to the world that her daughter secured early admission to a prestigious private university. Ouch.

Lori Loughlin Is Furious At Daughter Olivia Jade

Earlier this month, we reported that Olivia Jade made a surprise return to YouTube for the first time in months. Loughlin’s youngest daughter was a popular social media star for her makeup tutorials before the college admissions scandal broke.

While Olivia Jade did not mention anything about the scandal or her parents, former “Fuller House” star Lori Loughlin and fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, the Daily Mail reports that her return to YouTube did not go over well at home.

“Lori was very clear in telling Olivia to remain quiet and not do anything controversial,” a source close to the situation told UsWeekly. ‘Olivia’s YouTube video was a big betrayal. And cracks in the family are starting to show.”

Will Olivia Jade’s Videos Impact Lori Loughlin At Trial?

Another source explained that while Loughlin supports her daughter’s career on social media, she is afraid of how it will be seen in court.

Both Loughlin and her husband now face up to 50 years in prison. The couple is charged with paying $500,000 to have their two daughters admitted to the University of Southern California. The girls were admitted as members of the crew team, even though neither girl had ever rowed before.

Loughlin and Giannulli entered a not guilty plea and are due in court early next year. The weight of their impending trial has put a cloud over the holiday season for them.

“Things have changed for the family and it’s a much darker place for everyone,” the source said. “Christmas won’t be the same.”

Huffman’s Daughter Is Admitted To College

Meanwhile, things are looking far better for Huffman’s family, as her 17 year-old daughter just revealed she’s been admitted to Vassar College. Georgia Macy, the daughter of Huffman and “Shameless” actor William H. Macy, has changed her Instagram bio to read, “Vassar 2024.”

This comes after Huffman spent 11 days in prison for paying an exam proctor $15,000 to falsify her other daughter Sophia Grace’s SAT exam answers. Huffman is known to have considered doing the same thing for Georgia, but decided against it at the last minute.

Vassar Has A ‘Highly Selective’ Admissions Process

Vassar prides itself on having a “highly selective” admissions process, making it a difficult school to get into.

“Although we weigh a number of factors in the admission decision, the most important is academic ability, as demonstrated by performance in high school,” the school wrote on their website. “We also consider personal strengths, motivation, and potential as evidenced in essays, recommendations, and out-of-class involvements. Standardized test scores are also reviewed, as an indicator of academic aptitude.”

Huffman and her family are now free to move on with their lives thanks to her taking responsibility for what she did. On the other hand, Loughlin and her family remain in some very hot water.

Had Loughlin and Giannulli pled guilty, they likely would have gotten lenient sentences. And this nightmare would be over for them and their daughters.

It’s time for them to finally admit what they did to themselves and the world. It’s time to enter guilty pleas so that their family can move on as well.
