Candace Cameron Bure Reveals Why She Doesn’t Miss Working On ‘The View’

Conservative Christian actress Candace Cameron Bure of “Fuller House” fame just opened up to reveal the reason why she does not miss cohosting the ABC talk show “The View. ” She appeared on for two seasons in 2015 and 2016.

Cameron Bure Reveals Why She Doesn’t Miss ‘The View’

People Magazine reported that during an interview on “Tamron Hall” on Tuesday, Cameron Bure opened up about her decision to leave “The View.”

“I don’t miss it,” said Cameron Bure, 43. “I miss the people. I’ll be honest, I’m going to hop over after the show and go say ‘hi’ because they all are friends and feel like buddies. But I don’t miss talking about politics every day. I want to stay in happy land. I want to be in a bubble where I just want to be kind and respectful and love on people.”

Leaving ‘The View’ Still ‘Wasn’t An Easy Decision’

Cameron Bure surprised everyone in December 2016 when she announced that she would be leaving the show after just two seasons. But, she knew that it was the best move she could make for herself.

“It wasn’t an easy decision, but before I started The View, I had already had my commitments to ‘Fuller House’ and my work with the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies and Mysteries,” she said back in 2016. “And because of the success of those, my commitments have become even greater with those shows.”

The weekly commute from California to New York City, where “The View” is filmed, also took a toll on the actress.

“The commute of going West Coast to East Coast every single week for me has been tough on me and hard for my family as well,” Cameron Bure said. “And I want to make sure that I’m able to spend at much time with my children and invest in all the projects that I do to the fullest extent.”

“It’s a lot,” she continued. “I’ve tried to be Superwoman, and I’m going to not try anymore.”

Cameron Bure On Final Season Of ‘Fuller House’

Cameron Bure is currently promoting the fifth and final season of her Netflix show “Fuller House,” which is set to drop on Friday.

“It’s like saying goodbye to my best friend,” Cameron Bure said of saying goodbye to her “Fuller House” character of D.J. Tanner. “I have had such an incredible journey with Full House and now Fuller House. I’m so sad that it’s ended, but so happy that it happened.”

“We have had such an incredible fan base for over 30 years,” she continued. “I never stopped hearing about ‘Full House’ or D.J. Tanner wherever I went. Even when I took off and wasn’t working for 10 years to stay home and raise my kids, there was still so much ‘Full House’ love. We knew that we still had something that fans wanted to see. I think we kind of started that nostalgia train with all the shows because ours was the first that hit and did really well. I’m so grateful for it.”

Cameron Bure is known for being one of the few actresses in Hollywood who is unafraid to express her conservative Christian beliefs. She deserves better than being barked at every day by ignorant liberals like Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg, so we can certainly understand why leaving “The View” has been such a relief to her!

James Conrad

James Conrad’s passion for politics is only overshadowed by his longstanding interest in Hollywood. His unique perspective as a gay conservative fuels him to challenge celebrity views and those who think they have a right to tell anyone how to think or vote. James proudly wields his minority point of view to combat identity politics and cut through his typecast. Fun fact: James’ guilty pleasure is the British royal family.
