Will The Usos Be Back Soon + Cody Rhodes Not Cleared For Action

When Will Jimmy and Jey Uso Make Their Return?

The Usos

Over the past few months, speculation on when The Usos would make their WWE return has been a popular pastime.

The team has been off TV for a while, in part due to fallout from a recent arrest.

At one point, it seemed to be a done deal that the pair would return by the time of the WWE Draft festivities that recently took place. However, they neither returned on the Draft shows, nor were actually drafted to either brand.

There have been plenty of logical places in storylines for the brothers to make their television returns, but nothing has happened…yet.

Per the Wrestling Observer, no date has been specifically mentioned, but the return of Jimmy and Jey has apparently reached the “at any moment now” stage of things. The brothers were not on the recent UK tour, so if they are showing up on either RAW or SmackDown, the soonest for that would be a few days from now.

With relative Roman Reigns currently tangling with Baron Corbin, and the 2019 King of the Ring winner recently appearing to align with Roode and Ziggler, there would be a perfect opportunity for an Usos return.

Cody Rhodes Not Cleared For Action Following Full Gear

All Elite Wrestling held their latest PPV, Full Gear, this past weekend.

It was not a good weekend for Cody Rhodes.

The American Nightmare was slated to battle Chris Jericho for the promotion’s world championship, but he was unable to defeat Jericho.

During the match, Rhodes took a particularly crazy looking bump, bouncing his face off the steel entry ramp and busting himself wide open.

To wrap up the match, MJF-a friend of Rhodes (at the time) tossed in the towel, ending the match and ensuring Cody would not win gold.

However, the disappointment did not stop there. Following the match, MJF showed his true colors by turning on the AEW vice president.

Now, due to the bump and other match-related fallout, AEW is reporting that Rhodes is not cleared for action until further notice.
