NYPD Under Attack, Protesters Launch ‘Punch That Cop’ Campaign – AOC Endorses It

About a thousand protesters flooded the New York City subway to gripe about NYPD officers enforcing the laws they are sworn to uphold and defend. In typical left-wing fashion, the anti-police subway protests are encouraging violence. Which means it won’t be long until these subway protests take a dangerous turn. Heck, people are getting killed in Popeyes these days.

Most disturbingly, the protesters in the Brooklyn subway station were supported and encouraged by socialist Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

NYC Subway Fare Increase Protest

The protesters are upset about a fare increase. Moreover, they believe riding the subway is a right and should be free or have a negligible cost.

AOC and her cohorts don’t believe there should be any punishment for those who jump the subway lines and pay nothing. After all, their socialist principles say everything should be free.

And so they expect the NYPD to turn a blind eye to fare jumpers. Furthermore, these freeloaders are willing to promote violence to achieve their goal.

From the NY Post:

Close to a thousand anti-police protesters descended on Downtown Brooklyn Friday night, blocking traffic, vandalizing a city bus and shouting obscene insults at NYPD cops.

The demonstration formed soon after 7 p.m. on the streets near the Barclays Center, with protesters unfurling large banners that read “F—k the police” and “Don’t let these pigs touch us.” The crowd began dispersing by 9 p.m.

The demonstration was in response to a planned crackdown on fare evasion by the NYPD — and two controversial police actions in Brooklyn subway stations in recent weeks.

AOC Supports Protesters Threatening Police

One of the banners that was carried by several people read, “Ante up! Punch that cop! NYPD out of MTA!”

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez wants you to know that people who call the police pigs and threaten violence against them are her kind of people!

These NYC subway protesters vandalized a bus and some buildings. These were not peaceful people.

They want free transit fares and they will apparently work towards accomplishing this and any cost, including promoting violence against NYPD officers.

Respect for the NYPD

There has been a growing lack of respect for police officers in New York City.

Yet NYPD Officers are a rather iconic part of the fabric of American story. They have a reputation for bravely and professionally dealing with the worst of the worst.

These police officers risk their lives daily to protect the residents and visitors of the Big Apple. They are on the front lines and making sacrifices daily.

Have NYC residents so easily forgotten 9/11?

In return for their service, Ocasio-Cortez and her people reward these brave men and women with protests, threats, and attacks.

In addition to the increase in fares, protesters are upset about two incidents where police aggressively stopped people from jumping the subway lines.

In one instance, an officer pointed a pistol at a fare jumper. The other occurred when an officer slugged a teen involved in a melee.

And so these brilliant anti-police protesters choose to combat what they perceive as police ‘violence’ with even more violence of their own.

That’s some classic Liberal Logic right there.

We hope that these NYC subway protesters come to their senses and learn to respect the officers who protect and serve.

And maybe, just maybe, AOC will do the right thing and attempt to reverse any damage she’s done by standing up for the brave men and women serving her District and across NYC.
