Game Show Host Chuck Woolery: Supporting Trump ‘Destroyed My Career’

Chuck Woolery is one of the most famous game show hosts of our time, known for hosting such classics as “Love Connection” and “Lingo”. So where is the original “Wheel of Fortune” host now? Not on TV. And the game show icon says it’s because being a vocal supporter of President Donald Trump ruined his career chances in Hollywood. Seems Woolery landed himself on the Hollywood blacklist.

While Woolery’s statement should come as little surprise to anyone, it adds fuel to the burning issue that the liberals who run Hollywood are taking it upon themselves to silence and blacklist anyone who is openly conservative.

Nevertheless, what happened to Woolery is no less sad or outrageous. His tale is one that all Americans should hear and consider in his own words.

Chuck Woolery Says Trump Support Ended His Career

“To answer your question. Yes I have pretty much destroyed my career by openly supporting Trump and letting all know, I am a conservative,” Woolery tweeted last week. “Painful at times, but true. After all is said and done. It was my choice and I can live with it. I would do it all again.”

The Story Behind His Tweet

This week, Woolery went on the Fox News program “Fox & Friends” to explain his tweet. And the his reasoning behind it was interesting to say the least.

“It was kind of a self-deprecating tweet I sent out because I know I’m shadow-banned. I’ve got about 650 or 700,000 followers,” Woolery told host Brian Kilmeade. “I know the half of them don’t get what I say. So I sent this thing out just as kind of a test — because it made me look [like] I was losing in life. And it just went crazy — it was the biggest tweet I ever had in my life. So as long as you’re a loser they love you.”

Modern liberals love nothing more than throwing pity parties for themselves these days, so it should come as no surprise that Woolery said they responded to this tweet.

The Democratic Party encourages people to never take responsibility for themselves and to always blame others for their problems. Thus creating a generation of young liberals who constantly feel sorry for themselves.

Woolery Blasts Liberals Trying To Get Him Fired

Woolery went on to explain that contrary to his tweet, he is not actually losing in life and has found success in other business ventures. Landing on the Hollywood blacklist couldn’t keep Woolery down.

That being said, he admitted that he has had difficulty contending with the online liberal haters who are always trying to get him fired.

“My career kind of phased into commercial life. So I have several companies I represent. And they are bombarded. These people sit in their basement, and they make it look like there are thousands of people complaining about Chuck Woolery or about the products and who he represents — and ‘how could you let this fascist, racist guy represent your company’ — when none of it is true. And these are the same people by the way who I get on Twitter [saying] ‘I watched you when I was growing up. I loved you… What happened to you?'”

Woolery lamented the fact that Democrats have demonized conservatives to the point where liberals are out to ruin the lives of anyone who disagrees with them.

“What you have wrong is… the companies who you represent are just inundated with all of this negative [stuff]. It’s not true,” Woolery said. “They just make this stuff up and throw it out [there] because they want to destroy your life. They don’t just want to disagree with you. They are so vehement and so virulent. They just want to destroy you and that’s their purpose.”

Careers Ruined Over Politics

The closed-mindedness and vitriol that Democrats show to those who disagree with them is disturbing to behold. Can you believe that we now live in a country where your entire career can be ruined simply for being conservative?

These are surreal and dangerous times.

We applaud Woolery for having the courage to speak out about his support for the president and his conservative values.

If only more prominent Hollywood figures would do the same.
