Bellator London

Back in his home country, Michael Page did what Michael Page does.

Page knocked out Giovanni Melillo in the main event of Bellator London 2. The card took place from inside The SSE Arena in London, England.

The 32-year-old Page was originally set to meet Derek Anderson, but Anderson was forced off the card. This marked his first time back in London since 2018 when he topped David Rickels.

Page has now won two consecutive fights via first round knockout since suffering his only loss to date. This past September, he finished Richard Kiely with a flying knee.

The card also saw Fabian Edwards pick up a split decision over Michael Shipman and Soren Bak down Terry Brazier via decision.

On the prelims, Denise Kielholtz submitted Sabriye Sengul and Robert Whiteford knocked out Sam Sicilia among the notable bouts.

The next Bellator event is December 20 when the promotion hosts Bellator USO Salute to the Troops featuring Josh Barnett vs. Ronny Markes from Hawaii. Bellator 236 is planned for the next night as Ilima-Lei Macfarlane defends her flyweight belt against Kate Jackson.
