There was no shortage of combat sports action this past weekend, so if you didn’t catch Alex Pereira’s devastating knockout of Donegi Abena, well, you can now.
Pereira, who is GLORY’s reigning middleweight champ, faced Abena for the interim light-heavyweight title on Saturday. As you can seen by watching the video below, Pereira ended the bout with a vicious, vicious left hook in round three.
Pereira has won seven straight fights now, and that run includes wins over top tier middleweights in Simon Marcus and Jason Wilnis (you can watch Pereira bombing out Wilnis with a flying knee here).
With the victory, the 32-year-old Pereira moved his overall kickboxing record to 38-6, with 27 knockouts.
