Finn Balor Turned Heel On The Latest Episode Of NXT
The return of Finn Balor to NXT was met with overwhelming fan support. But now, the former champion has apparently turned heel after leading an attack on the latest episode.
Balor turned on Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano when he landed an overhead kick on Gargano. The trio had come out after the main event, which saw Roderick Strong defend his NXT North American title.

Strong, along with NXT champion Adam Cole and NXT tag team champions Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish, were set to attack Lee. That brought out Ciampa followed by Gargano, reuniting DIY to battle The Undisputed Era.
Balor, who was standing with Ciampa and Gargano, walked towards Undisputed Era before delivering a kick to Gargano. He also dropkicked Gargano through a barrier and drove him into the ramp to conclude the show.
The 38-year-old Balor is a former NXT champion, WWE Intercontinental champion and WWE Universal champion. He also won the 2015 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic with Samoa Joe.
The decision prompted many comments on social media including from WWE legend Shawn Michaels and AJ Styles.
Well that’s one way to return to #WWENXT. @FinnBalor
