The Fiend

The Fiend has been one of the most popular WWE superstars lately. With him in the Universal Title picture, many fans were shocked to see him being moved to Raw. However, the superstar shakeup could have fewer consequences for Bray Wyatt than we originally thought.

Bray Wyatt Advertised for Raw

Shortly after the WWE superstar draft, fans believed the outcome of the Seth Rollins – Bray Wyatt match was a done deal. With The Fiend on SmackDown Live, chances of him winning the title were slim.

However, a loss for Bray Wyatt at Crown Jewel is no longer a guarantee. Recent reports state that he has been advertised for Raw in November. Does this mean The Fiend will take the WWE Universal Championship and move to Raw permanently?

Dark Matches or Main Events?

The rivalry between The Fiend and Seth Rollins will not be over at Crown Jewel. According to NYCB Live, the pair will be facing each other in a steel cage match in the main event.

While some channels have speculated that The Fiend would only work dark matches, it seems like the recent report from NYCB Live indicates otherwise.

The appearances of The Fiend on the Raw brand might only be temporary though, since he is not advertised for any Raw appearances in December. However, schedules change all the time in the WWE. So, anything posted online these days is subject to change.

Plant to Alter Predetermined Outcome of Crown Jewel Match

Many reporters have picked up on the fact that The Fiend might not be winning the WWE Universal Championship due to his position on Raw, as stated above. As a consequence, the outcome of Crown Jewel’s most anticipated match is all but a foregone conclusion. Therefore, the advertisement could be a plant by the WWE to put fans on the wrong track.

It would not be the first time the WWE plants a rumor to confuse fans. However, plants with advertising are far less common, as it has the potential  to upset fans who book their tickets to see a particular superstar. For example, Brock Lesnar was advertised on SmackDown Live months before his move was confirmed with the superstar draft.

Bray Wyatt Working Different Brands?

Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt could be working different brands over the next few months as well. Many people were surprised that Wyatt did not get his own wildcard, especially given his popularity lately.

Based on the fan reactions to The Fiend’s move to SmackDown Live,  it is possible that the WWE has changed their minds about him. They might be putting him on two different brands at the same time, making him the only superstar with a proverbial wildcard.

The use of the wildcard was not the best idea in the past. But, Wyatt is the one man who could pull it off. Whether or not he will get this status in the nearby future remains to be seen. Nevertheless, I am sure we will get some answers near the end of 2019.
