ONE Championship’s held its “Immortal Triumph” card in Ho Chi Minh City on Friday, and the event saw Anderson Silva get back on track, with a quick and decisive win.
As you can see by watching the video below, the Brazilian kickboxer took on Russia’s Beybulat Isaev. Silva put his booming right hand to work right away, and after scoring with a couple of big shots, he finished the deal with an uppercut.
With the win, Silva got back on track, following a decision loss to Tarik Khbabez in June. Silva’s kickboxing record now stands at 44-17-1.
The Asia based promotion’s next major events are scheduled for October 13th, as ONE’s splitting it’s 100th card into two sections. The event is taking place in Tokyo, Japan, and will feature multiple championship fights and grand prix finals.
So, ya. If you’re a hardcore fan of MMA and combat sports, it’s certainly an event you don’t want to miss.
