AEW President Not Happy With All Out Incident

AEW’s Tony Khan Not Happy About All Out Incident

While All Elite Wrestling’s (AEW) last event felt like a hit with fans, not everything went smoothly. After All Out, AEW President Tony Khan mentioned how he had an issue with Cody Rhode’s entrance.

During Cody’s entrance, he had his dog Pharaoh with him. The pyro and loud music clearly spooked the dog. Speaking to the media after the event, Khan said he was not happy with the dog being scared. He was not certain the animal should should have been brought out and seemed to indicate that AEW might not be doing that again.

The dog did eventually calm down, but he was clearly startled. Khan also said that Brandi Rhodes was not happy about her dog being scared.

As for Cody, he addressed the issue on Twitter.

Authors Of Pain Current WWE Status

On Monday’s RAW, WWE held a massive tag team turmoil match to see who would get the next shot at the belts. The match went as planned, with Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode getting the victory. Apparently, Paul Heyman is high on Roode and is using this opportunity to help elevate the character.

In the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, they noted how the Authors of Pain (AOP) were scheduled to take part in the bout. They were set to appear dominant, but would not get the victory. It is possible they would have filled the spot of The Viking Raiders or The O.C.’s Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson. During that part of the match, both teams were disqualified and thus eliminated.

AOP came to the main roster and started to find success once Drake Maverick was made their manager. Their first and only title reign on the main roster lasted a bit longer than a month. Shortly after dropping the titles, Akam underwent surgery on his knees in January. They returned to TV during Super ShowDown as part of the largest battle royal in WWE history. Since then, they have not appeared on TV and Maverick is busy pursuing the 24/7 Championship.
