Jared Gordon is coming off a win at UFC Minneapolis this past June, but it looks like the lightweight also scored a victory for himself and his family recently in Chicago.
Gordon posts video of him disarming some guy with a bat…
Recently Gordon shared out the tweets below, in which he claimed that a man in Chicago got upset about him filming his bumper sticker (you can see the crass bumper sticker below). According to Gordon, the man got out of his vehicle with a bat, so he and his cousins disarmed the man.
Had an awesome night with my parents, my cousin and her husband this evening in Chicago. I took this video of this guys bumper sticker I saw as we were walking back to the hotel, he didn’t approve and pulls a bat out of his trunk… see next video for the rest pic.twitter.com/2xq6RLdgLy

Me and my cousins husband subdue him and I take the bat from him. It took everything in me not to punch him. So I stepped on his neck instead, and he goes sleepy for about 2-3 seconds… and goes on his merry way pic.twitter.com/ab5nnHeSLQ

How about that huh? Thankfully it looks like no one was seriously hurt.
Action in the cage
As far as Gordon’s MMA career, the 30-year-old worked his way a decision win over Dan Moret in June. That win followed back-to-back losses to Diego Ferreira and Joaquim Silva. The win moved Gordon’s UFC record to 3-2 and his overall record to 15-3.
