Series With Stephanie McMahon, WWE Cancels Italy Shows for Saudi?

– Partnering with Critical Content, WWE Studios is currently producing a new and unscripted series called, Fight Like A Girl, set to air on Quibi, a mobile-first media tech platform.

Each show is set to feature Stephanie McMahon, who will be pairing up a female WWE talent with a young woman struggling with an issue that is keeping her from moving forward. The WWE superstars will help these young females with advice, drawing from their own experiences, to help them become healthier, stronger, and tougher versions of themselves.

Episodes will be shot at the WWE Performance Center and highlight transformations and new reveals of these women, as their life changes (for the better).

Executive Producers for Fight Like a Girl include Stephanie McMahon, Ben Zierten, Richard Lowell, and Susan Levison (on the WWE side of things), as well as Jenny Daly, Jon Beyer, and jenny Daly from Critical Content.

WWE had two live events set for Italy this November in Florence and Milan (November 3 and 4, respectively); however, they have recently been cancelled. The company’s official reason to local promoters was that a “scheduling conflict” arose within the WWE tour, and it was stated that they hope to announce future dates to Italy soon.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the thought around this cancellation could be linked to the brand’s return to Saudi Arabia. Other November European tour dates were cancelled recently, and the date being thrown around for the Saudi event at that point in time was November 1st; however, it seems as if it has been changed to another date in November. The company has not made an official announcement in this regard, but should be doing so soon. European dates already cancelled include: Nottingham (November 5), Birmingham (November 6), London (November 8), and Minehead (November 9).
