– The longest-reigning WWE Divas Champion in history Nikki Bella, along with twin Brie, recently visited the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, where they discussed a plethora of things, including getting to the heart of the matter around why Bella is retired. Nikki not only required neck surgery, leaving her still feeling not quite right, but she also stated during the interview that she has a herniated disc and a cyst on her brain.

Bella relayed that she wanted to return to fight for the women’s tag titles; however, due to injuries, it was not a good idea. While she has hung up her wrestling boots, Nikki still stays in very good shape, but thanks to the above injuries, the idea of taking bumps and getting back into that squared circule may not be a good one.
The Bellas are currently keeping busy with other projects, including their wine brand, as well as a (confirmed) fifth season of Total Bellas. They also remain as community ambassadors for the WWE.
– Speaking of injuries, AJ Styles has sadly been out of in-ring competition this week, thanks to a calf injury, but fans did see him in a backstage segment with Good Brothers Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows this week on Monday Night RAW.

Unfortunately, while the segment was a good sign, Styles has still not yet been cleared for action, this according to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. The reason behind his RAW segment is that there is an expectation that he should be cleared soon, and he, along with Anderson and Gallows, are booked to return to the Sumo Hall for a WWE event.
Here’s hoping that Styles is cleared and ready for in-ring competition for the WWE’s Japan tour, as the company is promoting this match well for the upcoming event.
