Monday Night Raw (6/24/2019)

The Mix brings you Ringside Intel’s recap and results for tonight’s WWE Monday Night Raw (6/24/2019) broadcast. Show starts at 8 pm EST. Monday Night Raw: (6/24/2019): 8 pm EST

Universal Champion Seth Rollins comes out to cut a promo and Raw Women’s Champ Becky Lynch comes out too. They talk about how Becky had her boyfriend Rollins’ back last night when Baron Corbin brought in Lacey Evans to be his special guest referee in the title match at Stomping Grounds. Corbin’s music hits and Evans ends up attacking Becky from behind, as Corbin and Rollins also engage in battle. Evans and Corbin end up being driven off but they have some more to say before they leave. Corbin says Rollins never would have won without Becky last night and that Evans is the only real woman in WWE.

Corbin and Evans challenge Rollins and Becky to a match at Extreme Rules. And the stipulation is that both of their respective titles will be on the line and it will be Winner Take All.

8-Man Tag Team Elimination Match: The Usos & New Day vs. Tag Champs Daniel Bryan & Rowan & The Revival

Daniel Bryan and Rowan are eliminated first. New Day are eliminated next. The match becomes a straight up tag match between The Usos and The Revival.

Jey nails Scott Dawson with a Frog Splash for the 3-count.

Winners: The Usos

The Miz comes out for an edition of Miz TV. His guest is 24/7 Champ R-Truth, who comes out with Carmella. They talk about how Truth won the title back from Drake Maverick by ambushing him at his wedding. Maverick comes out and says his wife won’t even talk to him. They haven’t consummated their marriage because of what happened. Truth tells him he should take some more fiber if his marriage is constipated. The crowd chants “constipated”. Maverick asks, on his honor as a man, for a rematch. Miz gets word from the truck that if Truth accepts the match, all other competitors will be banned so the two can go one-on-one. Truth accepts.

24/7 Championship Match: R-Truth (c) vs. Drake Maverick

Truth picks up the quick win to retain.

Winner: R-Truth (c)

After the match, a bunch of guys run out to try and take the title but Truth makes off with Carmella on his back.

2-on-1 Handicap Match: Shane McMahon & Drew McIntyre vs. Roman Reigns

Shane changes the rules at the start to make it simply a 2-on-1 match, where Reigns has to face both guys simultaneously. McIntyre and Shane simply decimate Reigns, despite an early effort by Reigns to combat the odds. Shane sets up for a Coast-To-Coast to finish things off, but then Undertaker’s gong hits. The lights go out and when they come back on, Taker is there. Taker starts taking it to both Shane and McIntyre and the crowd goes wild. Both men end up retreating and the Undertaker eyes them down fiercely from the ring as his music starts to play.

Tug-o-War: Braun Strowman vs. Bobby Lashley

Lashley almost pulls Strowman over the line, but Strowman stops and starts to laugh. Then he quickly starts to yank Lashley back the other way. Lashley ends up charging at Strowman and attacking him and the two end up brawling.

AJ Styles catches Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson goofing around in No Way Jose’s conga line and gives them crap again about not taking thing seriously. What happened to the guys he met in Japan?, Styles asks. Gallows and Anderson end up saying they’re going to show Styles in their match next that those guys are still around.

Tag Team Match: Gallows & Anderson vs. The Viking Raiders

Gallows and Anderson look on their way to winning, until Anderson gets cocky again and starts to do a little taunting. The Viking Raiders take advantage and take the W.

Winners: The Viking Raiders

Styles is shown watching on a monitor backstage, shaking his head in disappointment.

24/7 Champ R-Truth ends up in the ring and he loses and wins back his title a few times as a swarm of guys attack him. Truth ultimately wins his title back off EC3 with a little distraction from Carmella, then they escape together.

WWE Champ Kofi Kingston comes out to be interviewed by Charlee Caruso. Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens come out and tell Caruso to take off with her “softball journalism”. They say they, at least, came prepared. They then grill Kofi and ask how he feels that he’s needed help from his friends to hold onto that title. After Zayn and Owens talk enough trash, Kofi challenges Zayn to a match.

Singles Match: WWE Champ Kofi Kingston vs. Sami Zayn (with Kevin Owens)

Kofi pulls out the win with a surprise roll-up after a back and forth tilt.

Winner: Kofi Kingston

As Kofi is leaving, Owens jumps on the mic and tells Kofi to prove that he’s a real champion. Owens tells Kofi to come back to the ring and face him in another match. Kofi, visibly fatigued, is loathe to fight again, but cannot refuse the challenge.

Singles Match: WWE Champ Kofi Kingston vs. Kevin Owens

Kofi hits an SOS on the steel ramp outside the ring, and then runs into the ring to beat the count out before Owens can recover.

Winner: Kofi Kingston (Count-Out)

As Kofi is leaving, Samoa Joe runs out and attacks him. Joe ruthlessly batters Kofi and then slams him with a huge yurinagi on the stage. Joe leaves and officials tend to Kofi. But then Joe runs back out and puts Kofi in a Coquina Clutch and chokes him out. Joe takes his leave again and Kofi is shown gasping and struggling to catch a breath, writhing on the ground in pain.

Singles Match: Alexa Bliss (Nikki Cross) vs. Naomi

Bliss spikes Naomi with her DDT for the win.

Winner: Alexa Bliss

After the match, Bliss and Cross attack Naomi and Natalya runs out to help her. A tag team match is then made between them.

Tag Team Match: Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross vs. Naomi & Natalya

Cross hits a neckbreaker and Bliss gets the pin.

Winners: Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross

Singles Match: AJ Styles vs. United States Champ Ricochet

Gallows and Anderson come out to the ring during the match, their intentions unknown. They stand at ringside and watch. Styles stops the match and asks why they’re there. Styles doesn’t want them to ruin the match, and say he won’t begin again until they leave. Offended, Gallows and Anderson back off and skulk away.

The match goes on and the two tear the house down. Styles pulls out the win after connecting with a Phenomenal Forearm.

Winner: AJ Styles
