Jon Moxley’s All Out Opponent, Triple H On Tommaso Ciampa’s Return

– With Double Or Nothing in the books, All Elite Wrestling (AEW) is already looking to the future. They have three pay per views confirmed and start airing weekly on TNT TV this fall.

The next major pay per view is All Out and the only match confirmed is Chris Jericho vs. Adam Page to crown the inaugural AEW World Champion. During the Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed how another marquee match looks to be Jon Moxley vs. Kenny Omega.

At AEW’s Double Or Nothing, the show closed with Moxley making an unadvertised appearance. The former WWE Champion would take out a referee and Jericho with dirty deeds before turning his attention to Omega. They fought up with the ramp, with Ambrose disposing of Omega to conclude the historic event.

All Out is August 31 from Chicago’s Sears Centre Arena. It is being described as the unofficial sequel to to All In from September of last year. Tickets will go on sale June 14.

– Before NXT’s Takeover XXV, Tommaso Ciampa appeared during the pre-show panel, stating that he has been cleared for ‘non contact’ after having to vacate the NXT World Championship in February after undergoing anterior cervical fusion. After the show, Triple H discussed Ciampa’s current status.

“He’s ahead of schedule and doing extremely well,” said Triple H. “But with the type of injury he had and the type of surgery he had, especially in this from a physicality stand point, you’re not doing anything until you’re 100%. It’s not like you can go in there and lightly take suplexes. You have to be 100%. So, he’s still got a ways to go but he’s way ahead of the curve and the schedule.”

Triple H continued how Ciampa is in the WWE Performance Center everyday. When asked when Ciampa can return, Triple H simply said ‘soon.’
