Dog the Bounty Begs for Prayers as Beth Is Now in a Coma

Dog the Bounty Hunter is asking for prayers for his wife Beth as she is now in a medically induced coma following her two year battle against throat cancer. This is very serious and the Chapmans are rallying around Beth.

The tough, yet gentle bounty hunter later tweeted that Beth is in a coma. The matriarch of the Chapman family has been in this latest medical crisis since Saturday evening.

Less than two weeks ago, Beth shared a photo of herself on Instagram along with a positive message that cancer will not hold her back. But, her health clearly has taken a turn for the worse in the days since her uplifting post. This picture is a testament to how quickly things can turn when dealing with a life-threatening illness.

The Chapmans are very public about their Christian faith. It’s a part of their show and their everyday life. Now, they are leaning on God hard to get them through these trying times. On Mother’s Day, Beth spoke at Source Church in Bradenton, Florida where she addressed how her faith is the focal point in dealing with her cancer and its outcome.

“I don’t go to God and go, ‘Why did I get cancer?’ He’ll roll his eyes at me again, because I know why — because this is the ultimate test of faith,” the beloved female bounty hunter told the congregation. “It is the evidence of things hoped for and it is the substance of things not known.”

At this Mother’s Day service, Beth alluded to the fact that she is no longer getting chemotherapy and has put her fate in God’s hands saying this is the “ultimate test of faith.”

Beth Chapman is living her faith as she battles for her life. Someone’s true character is exposed when they are struggling the most. She is proving that family and faith are her central pillars. She and the entire Chapman family certainly can use our prayers now.
