Audrey Roloff shared a very raw Instagram post about the reality of her marriage. Social media gives us the ability to put on a smile and mask our troubles and that is exactly what she and Jeremy have been doing as they face marital problems.

The “Little People, Big World” alums previously detailed that Jeremy is battling a porn addiction. While Audrey did not mention that issue in her recent post, she did highlight that there have been many tears that have been shed. Even though this couple appears to be “picture perfect” on Instagram, they are struggling.

“To be honest, the last few weeks have been hard on our marriage,” the 27-year-old wife shared. “We have been working through some things and let’s just say there has been a lot of “heated fellowship,” morning hugs missed, and date nights postponed. We are overworked and exhausted from the pace we’ve been running for too long.”

Audrey admitted to going to great lengths to appear happy to the outside world, but she is ready to reveal the truth. Marriage is not all smiles and giggles. There are plenty of bumps in the road and she and Jeremy are certainly experiencing that now.

“If you’ve ever looked at or read a post from us and thought ‘They must just have it all together.’ Volume up for this one….WE DON’T??‍♀️ We fight, struggle, cry, and face challenges just like anyone. I’m saying this here because if you look at my Instagram feed from the past 3 weeks you don’t see the long tearful conversations, the hurtful remarks, the compiling complaints, the critical spirits, the prideful inner dialogue, or our unloving and disrespectful attitudes. You don’t see the full picture,” the mother of one shared in the Instagram post below. ⁣

Marriage requires a lot of hard work and fame and fortune don’t make things click as many in Hollywood realize when they end up in divorce court. As Audrey mentioned, we shouldn’t compare our real lives with phony smiles on social media. We all struggle, each and every one of us.

It’s laudable that Audrey and Jeremy have decided to share this in hopes of helping other couples. Faith is a focal point of their marriage and they certainly could use prayers during this time.
