WWE Champion Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods come out to introduce Big E in a return from injury. They bring out someone covered under a blanket, and the big reveal… reveals someone who isn’t Big E at all. Woods and Kofi gripe over this mistake and state that nothing can ever go right. They order the impostor away and try again. This time Big E himself comes out, belting out his catchphrases and carrying on in his trademark fashion.

As New Day is engaging in their usual ludicrous shenanigans, Kevin Owens’ music hits and he comes out, followed by Sami Zayn, to interrupt. Zayn points out that Big E was only gone 6 weeks and he was gone 10 months, returning will basically no fanfare. New Day replies that Zayn deserves nothing. Owens shakes his head and walks off but Zayn remains and continues talking trash at New Day and the fans for the toxic culture they’ve created. Woods starts to interrupt Zayn’s speech with hits on his trombone.

Zayn will face Kofi Kingston in action later tonight.
