– In April, “Road Dogg” Brian James took an extended break from WWE. He had been working as a co-lead writer of SmackDown and reached a breaking point the week following WrestleMania 35. After growing frustration with the last minute changes to the scripts by Vince McMahon, James stepped down from his creative position.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the 2019 WWE Hall of Famer is expected to return to WWE. The belief is he will have a different role and work more closely alongside his friend Triple H.
Some think James might have already returned as he sent some tweets from behind the scenes of NXT. Other possible roles for James include working as a color commentator or replacing Arn Anderson as running live events. Anderson was fired after he allowed Alicia Fox to perform while intoxicated.
A fan recently questioned James if he quit WWE, which you seen below was quickly shot-down.

– Bellator MMA has used some of familiar WWE names in the past and they apparently have their eyes set on another superstar. According to F4Wonline, 205 Live’s Jack Gallagher has been speaking with the MMA promotion. As of now, nothing has been signed and it is unknown if WWE would allow Gallagher to compete since he is still under contract.
When WWE relaunched the cruiserweight division, Gallagher was one of the original names. He earned a title shot, but never captured the title. We have not seen too much of Gallagher on TV, but he remains a fan favorite; despite playing the role of heel.
Before joining WWE, Gallagher held 2-0 amateur record in MMA. He won both matches by first round submission. He has experience in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, kickboxing and boxing.
WWE’s Bobby Lashley has competed for Bellator in the past and former superstar Jack Swagger recently earned his second win, although there was some controversy.
