A disturbing video is going viral this week showing a rapper harassing a group of North Korean defectors for wearing MAGA hats.

The Daily Caller reported that the video, which was captured in Washington D.C. last month, shows the defectors walking around wearing “Make America Great Again” hats when they suddenly start getting heckled by two men. The men go on to confront the MAGA supporters, taking one of their hats and throwing it up in the air.

The video was initially posted to Twitter by a rapper who goes by the name “Bigolow Black.” He captioned the video, “Not Around Here Pimp … Ain’t None Of That Make America Great Again Sh*t.”

One of the MAGA hat-wearers later explained that they had wanted to show their support for Donald Trump because they appreciate his policies towards North Korea.

“Two of us were North Korean defectors who escaped for freedom. They had to save up money for a long time to come. We thought America is a democracy. But we had no freedom to wear a hat?” the unnamed man said. “We came here to speak out about human rights abuses. And we had no right to wear a hat? We thank Trump. The sanctions are working. The North Korean regime should be collapsed.”

It’s incredibly sad that a group of people who escaped the brutal regime in North Korea was treated this way upon reaching the United States. Unfortunately, this video comes as no surprise, as conservatives are constantly in danger of physical attacks from liberals when they wear any kind of MAGA gear. The media refuses to report on the attacks on Trump supporters because they don’t fit their narrative of conservatives being violent and deranged. In reality, it is leftists who have shown in the past few years that they are the ones who pose a real danger to others.

It’s sad that we now live in a country where simply supporting the president publicly is a dangerous act. We can only hope that these attacks stop at some point in the future and that liberals eventually learn to open their minds to those who think differently than them.
