Kamaru Usman Takes Poke at Ben Askren, Following Clear Cut Loss in Wrestling

Following Ben Askren’s one-sided loss to Jordan Burroughs in a wrestling match, Kamaru Usman took the opportunity to take a verbal poke at his rival.

Askren faced the decorated wrestler at a “Beat the Streets” event in New York City, and Burroughs scored a 11-0 technical fall in the match. Well, following the event, the UFC’s welterweight champ tweeted out the comments below (warning: explicit language):

So, if you’ve followed the Askren – Usman drama over the preceding months, the comments above won’t come as a surprise. Could these two battle in the cage sometime soon? It’s possible.

Askren is booked to fight Jorge Masvidal on July 6th, and Usman is expected to take on Colby Covington later this year. If both Usman and Askren in those bouts, a match-up between the two could be next.
