Max Holloway will return to the cage in less than two weeks time, and he’ll do so on the heels of yet another, ridiculously impressive performance.
That performance was back in December at UFC 231, when Holloway outscored Brian Ortega en route to a doctor stoppage win. Leading up to the fight, more than a few folks thought the rising star Ortega might be the man to end Holloway’s reign as featherweight champ. After all, Ortega had won all 14 of his pro bouts before facing “Blessed”.
At UFC 236, April 13th, Holloway will take on Dustin Poirier for the interim lightweight title. The event will take place in Atlanta, Georgia.
