Reba McEntire Finds Love Again After Painful Divorce

Fans of country music star Reba McEntire are feeling very happy for her after she found love again when she least expected it following a heartbreaking divorce.

Daily Mail reported that McEntire has just opened up about her romance with a retired oil geologist four years after her painful divorce from her former manager Narvel Blackstock, who she was married to for 26 years. McEntire has been open about the fact that she did not want the divorce, and afterward, she was not sure if she would find love again. All of that changed when she met Anthony “Skeeter” Lasuzzo, a 70-year-old widower who she describes as a “soft-spoken retired oil geologist.”

“I was not looking,” she said of the years after her divorce. “Not even interested.”

McEntire met Lasuzzo back in 2017 when they were both vacationing in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

“We just had the best time,” McEntire recalled. “And so two nights later, we all went out to dinner, and he bought my dinner.”

Months later, Lasuzzo asked McEntire out on a date and they have been inseparable ever since!

“I was there almost a week and we spent every day together,” she said.

Though they tried to take it slow initially, McEntire admits that they are now a couple and they have been attending many industry events together.

“We’re totally in love — absolutely. I wouldn’t put up with somebody for two years if I wasn’t in love with ’em!” she added. “The old heart’s still beating.”

It comes as a huge relief to McEntire’s fans that she has found love again, as many worried about her after how devastating her divorce was.

“The divorce was not my idea,” she said the year after her divorce. “I didn’t want it in any shape, form or fashion. So it was really hard to make the adjustment.”
