Teenager Forced to Remove MAGA Hat and Pro-Trump Shirt on School’s ‘Patriotic Day’

A teenage girl from New Hampshire was just left humiliated when her school forced her to cover up her “Make America Great Again” shirt and take off her MAGA hat when she wore them for a patriotic celebration.

Fox News reported that Ciretta Mackenzie, a freshman at Epping High School, was forced to borrow a sweatshirt from a friend and take off her MAGA hat when school officials reprimanded her for wearing the pro-Trump gear during “America Pride Day.”

“It’s just a shirt, and it only says ‘Trump: Make America Great Again.’ It doesn’t say anything like ‘build a wall,’ so I don’t get how it could be offensive, how it could be disrespectful,” Mackenzie lamented.

Though the principal claimed that Makenzie’s shirt and hat violated the school’s dress code, she said that there is nothing in the code about political clothing.

“If it said no political gear, I could understand why it was dress code, but it didn’t say that, so I feel like I’m obligated to have my own opinion and other people can have theirs,” the teenager told reporters. “We don’t have to agree, that’s fine.”

Epping High School Superintendent Valerie McKenny said that two students were asked to change what they were wearing on Monday and that the incident is currently under investigation.

Something tells me that Mackenzie would not have been asked to change if she had been wearing pro-Obama gear to school. Somehow, liberals have made it so that any kind of pro-Trump apparel is considered “offensive.” People have always been allowed to wear clothing that supports the president, until now, and it’s sad that liberals are so “triggered” by Trump that they can’t even bear to see his name on a piece of clothing. Once again, Trump derangement syndrome has reared its ugly head.
