Monday Night Raw (4/1/2019)

Monday Night Raw: 8 pm EST

Show opens up and Stephanie McMahon comes out to the main stage. She announces that the women’s Triple Threat main event at WrestlMania, between Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey, Smackdown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair, and Becky Lynch, will feature both titles on the line. Winner take all.

Universal Champion Brock Lesnar comes out with his advocate Paul Heyman and Heyman starts cutting a promo about Lesnar’s ‘Mania opponent, Seth Rollins. He says that match will be Rollins’ last match after Lesnar destroys him. He says Rollins is just an after-thought to the likes of Brock Lesnar. Rollins’ music suddenly hits and he steps out to the ring. He tells Lesnar that nobody wants Lesnar here. He says the people are sick and tired of Brock Lesnar, and a contingent of audience members cheer.

Rollins says he’s going to take Lesnar’s title and there’s nothing he can do about it. Lesnar laughs it off and then walks by Rollins, shoulder-shoving him as he moves past. Rollins then attacks Lesnar and they start to brawl. Lesnar gets the upper hand but then Rollins turns it around and hits Lesnar with a Stomp.

8-Woman Tag Team Match: Tag Champs The Boss’n’Hug Connection, Natalya & Beth Phoenix vs. The IIconics, Nix Jax & Tamina

Phoenix hits the Glam Slam on Peyton Royce for the finish.

Winners: Boss’n’Hug Connection, Natalya & Beth Phoenix

Batista comes out to the ring to cut a promo about his WrestleMania opponent, Triple H. He stands in the ring and just soaks in the crowd, as it ranges from boos to “Welcome back” chants. Batista shows a clip to hype the match and then looks into the camera and says, “Hunter, kiss my ass.” Then he leaves

Lumberjack Match: Apollo Crews vs. Jinder Mahal

Crews picks up the win.

Winner: Apollo Crews

Tag Team Championship Match: Aleister Black & Ricochet vs. The Revival (c)

Ricochet gets counted out after Scott Dawson cheats and trips Ricochet from under the ring.

Winners: The Revival (c) (Count-out)

Roman Reigns is interviewed and Drew McIntyre attacks him from behind and says he wants to be in Reigns’ head morning, noon and night.

6-Woman Tag Team Match: Smackdown Women’s Champ Charlotte Flair, Raw Women’s Champ Ronda Rousey & Becky Lynch vs. The Riott Squad

The stipulation in the match is that if Flair, Rousey and Becky can’t work together and one of them betrays their team, that person will be removed from the WrestleMania title match. Tension between the 3 women is high, but Rousey manages to tap Liv Morgan out before things boil over.

Winners: Charlotte Flair, Ronda Rousey & Becky Lynch

After the match, Rousey immediately punches Charlotte, Becky gets involved and a brawl ensues. Police officers end up having to run out and keep them away from each other. All 3 end up handcuffed and are separately escorted out of the arena. They do not go quietly and the officers have their hands full trying to maintain control. Michael Cole on commentary makes a big deal about how the main event stars of WrestleMania have all been arrested.

Becky and Rousey are put in the back seat of the same cop car and they start kicking each other, hands tied behind their backs. Rousey kicks out the back window in the process and the cops separate them. Charlotte manages to get some shots in as well, until finally they are all taken away.

Tag Team Match: Heavy Machinery vs. Chad Gable & Bobby Roode

Heavy Machinery picks up the victory.

Winners: Heavy Machinery

Handicap Match: Braun Strowman vs. Jobbers

Strowman decimates the jobbers and hits them with a Double-Powerslam for the 3-count.

Winner: Braun Strowman

Intercontinental Champion Bobby Lashley comes out with his mouthpiece Lio Rush for an interview. He’s asked if he’s worried about Finn Balor’s alter-ego The Demon showing up to WrestleMania. Lashley says he’s not afraid of an Irish fairy tale. The Demon is just Balor and Lashley says he’s beaten Balor every single time. Balor comes on the big screen and reveals that The Demon will be making an appearance after all.

Singles Match: Baron Corbin vs. Rey Mysterio

Corbin pins Mysterio after hitting a Deep Six.

Winner: Baron Corbin
