Conor McGregor recently helped out a boxing club in Dublin, by competing in an exhibition match to help raise funds for the gym. But, his opponent Michael McGrane, is accusing the star of hitting him with a cheap shot…

McGrane recently spoke with TMZ Sports, and while doing so, he said this about the former UFC champ (quotes via MMA Junkie):

“We touch gloves at the start of the fight, and you’re meant to go back to your corner, but Conor never went back to his corner,” McGrane said. “Conor leaped at me with a left hook, the clinical left hooks, and he caught me flush in the eye with his clinical left hook. …

“Yeah, it was a cheap shot. It was the cheapest shot I’ve ever caught in my life. Conor McGregor hit me with a cheap shot in his own hometown.”

Now, as you can see by watching the vid below, McGrane said this with a bit of a grin on his face. So, it doesn’t look like he’s really that peeved about what went down. Also, typically in MMA, fighters touch gloves and then proceed to fight. So, that could also be why McGregor did what he did (further, it should be noted that the star did do the gym a massive solid by showing up and boxing).
