Bellator’s Liam McGeary Posts X-Ray of Broken Jaw, Comments on Fight Ending Injury

Liam McGeary clearly knew something was very wrong with jaw at Bellator 220, and since then, the former champ’s posted vivid evidence to that effect.

McGeary took on Phil Davis at the event, and was stopped in round three, after incurring what we now know was indeed a broken jaw. The British fighter recently shared out the x-ray and comments below (warning: explicit language).

Ugh… the jaw cracked in the second round and the tooth went in the 3rd. Soon as that arm came round and touched my jaw that was enough for me guys!! That hurt like a mutha fucka and you know I can take some shit too!!! Fuck it man, I was too worried about the takedowns in the first i was hesitant. Shit you took me down in the 3rd and I got right back the fuck up! I've stepped my game up man, wrestlers dont bother me anymore…. just the bloody dentist hahah Congrats @philmrw good shit mate, enjoyed throwing down with you man. Hopefully, the 36-year-old has a full and speedy recovery. The defeat was McGeary’s third in his last four contests and dropped his record to 13-4.
