Titan Towers

-In a bit of news from outside the ring, WWE is selling Titan Towers. The iconic offices, visible as you drive on I-95, will be sold as the company has plans to consolidate several of it’s facilities into a new, larger campus.

The company does intend to stay in Stamford, so they will not be going far from the towers. Still, considering how much we’ve seen the Towers play a role in WWE television (DX painting it green, Brock Lesnar attacking Hunter to get him to agree to a match, and many others).

On the upside, as WWE moves to newer and more modern facilities, it will be interesting to see what this means for what the company will be capable of producing (if anything).

Johnny Gargano was one of the surprise NXT call ups just a month ago. Upon joining the main roster, he and Tommaso Ciampa reformed DIY and seemed primed for a nice run.

Plans changed when Ciampa went down with an injury, and we have not seen Gargano on RAW or SmackDown in a few weeks.

Johnny Wrestling is, however, booked to challenge for the NXT title in Brooklyn. Initially, this was due to be another clash between Gargano and Ciampa, but the injury to Ciampa changed the plans. It will now be Adam Cole fighting Gargano for the vacant belt.

Apparently WWE is considering keeping Gargano on NXT for a while now, adjusting plans due to the loss of Ciampa. This should mean that the winner of the NXT title match isn’t so obvious now.

All Elite’s Cody Rhodes has filed for some new trademarks, which may be worth watching. He has filed for some things near and dear to his father’s creative legacy-Bunkhouse Brawl, Bash at the Beach and Battlebowl among them.

This is worth watching since all of these were tied to WCW, which of course WWE acquired. It will be interesting to see what, if any legal challenge WWE attempts.

Assuming Cody gets to use these, it would be interesting to see if, or how, All Elite makes use of any of these titles.
