‘The View’ Director Compares Rosie O’Donnell to Murderous Dictator

A director of the ABC talk show “The View” has just come forward to reveal what Rosie O’Donnell was really like behind the scenes during her years cohosting the show.

Yahoo News reported that though Rosie only hosted the show during the 2006–2007 and 2014–2015 seasons, she left quite an impression on the staffers who work there. The book Ladies Who Punch: The Explosive Inside Story of  “The View,” which is due to be released on April 2, includes many examples of O’Donnell’s blowups on set.

O’Donnell particularly had a problem with “The View” director Mark Gentile, who she allegedly bore a grudge against because he had once declined an offer for a job on her eponymous talk show. While talking to the book’s author Ramin Setoodeh, Gentile described O’Donnell as “medically insane.”

“Not like Bill O’Reilly, he’s crazy,” Gentile continued. “She’s medically insane, the best talent she has is making you believe she’s normal. She was like Pol Pot in Cambodia,”

Pol Pot was the Cambodian dictator who caused his country’s mass genocide that killed nearly two million people.

“She was going to go through the country and she was going to kill everybody and have it her way,” he added.

O’Donnell also had issues getting along with her conservative cohosts. In one incident, she blew up on conservative cohost Nicolle Wallace after the latter defended former President George W. Bush during a segment. O’Donnell lashed out at the cohost so badly that Wallace went to HR about the incident.

“Are you kidding me? I raised my voice,” O’Donnell said of the incident. “I was in my dressing room, getting my makeup done, and somebody comes and goes, ’Nicolle Wallace just went to HR…’ I didn’t know what HR was.”

Anybody who knows anything about O’Donnell should not be surprised by any of this, as she has especially shown how mentally unstable she is since Donald Trump took office. These days, O’Donnell spends much of her time launching increasingly unhinged attacks on the president that make little-to-no sense. Given the way O’Donnell has behaved as of late, it isn’t surprising at all that she truly is a nightmare behind the scenes.
