Smackdown Live: 8 pm EST

Show opens up and WWE Champion Daniel Bryan comes out to the ring with Rowan in tow. A video recap of Kofi Kingston being screwed out of his title shot by Vince McMahon is shown on the screen. The crowd boos. Bryan starts cutting a promo but the crowd boos some more and Rowan warns everyone to be silent. Bryan says he agrees that Vince should have removed the man who throws out copious amounts of pancakes (Kofi), but not that he should be replaced by a man who eats copious amounts of pancakes (Kevin Owens).

Owens is a nobody, says Bryan, but a nobody is somebody with nothing to lose and that makes him dangerous. Bryan says if he loses, the planet loses. Owens music hits and he comes out to address Bryan. Owens says all his time off was hard because he had to watch other people do what he loves to do. And nothing was worse than having to watch Bryan carrying on like he’s better than everyone else. Owens says he’s going to be the one to shut Bryan’s condescending mouth. The crowd cheers.

Owens continues to talk smack at Bryan, but as he steps into the ring, Rowan approaches him. Owens responds by throwing down and the down begin winging punches on each other. Bryan and Rowan end up overwhelming Owens and leave him laid out in the ring as they take their leave.


Tag Champs The Usos come out to the ring to cut a promo on Shane McMahon and The Miz. They say they’re just about tired of the bromance between those two. Shane and Miz then come out to respond. They say that they’ll be taking the titles at Fastlane. The Usos charges them but get dumped out to the floor as it cuts to commercial.

Singles Match: The Miz vs. Jey Uso

Miz hits a Skull-Crushing Finale for the victory, capitalizing on a distraction from a scuffle between Jimmy Uso and Shane outside.

Winner: The Miz


United States Championship Open Challenge: R-Truth (c) vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Samoa Joe vs. Andrade

Samoa Joe pins Andrade for the 3-count and wins the title.

Winner: Samoa Joe (c)


Tag Team Match: Ricochet & Aleister Black vs. The Bar

Ricochet hits the 630 on Cesaro for the pinfall.

Winners: Ricochet & Aleister Black

After the match, Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura attack Ricochet and Black with The Bar but the Hardy Boyz come out to the rescue.


Singles Match: Naomi vs. Mandy Rose (with Sonya Deville)

Mandy Rose picks up the quick win.

Winner: Mandy Rose

After the match, Women’s Champion Asuka attacks Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville from behind and leaves her laid out.


Singles Match: Kevin Owens vs. Rowan (with Daniel Bryan)

Daniel Bryan interferes and it ends in a brawl and Mustafa Ali comes out to help Owens and they drive Rowan and Bryan off.



Charlotte Flair comes out and calls Becky Lynch to come out to the ring. Becky comes out and talks about how Rousey beat her up last night but then Charlotte attacks her. Becky ends up putting the Disarm Her on Charlotte and officials have to pull Becky off Charlotte. Charlotte slides to the outside to escape and the crowd chants Becky’s name.
