Johnny Gargano Going To 205 Live?

– With Tommaso Ciampa out of action for up to year due to injury, it has caused WWE to change plans in NXT and Johnny Gargano’s main roster role. During Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez stated that WWE is considering moving Gargano to the 205 Live brand.

Seeing how Gargano become one of NXT’s biggest stars throughout 2018 and he debuted on the main roster with Ciampa, fans will probably not be pleased if he heads to the cruiserweight division. Mostly, because WWE does treat the wrestlers on 205 Live with the respect they deserve and the show is not as popular compared to RAW or SmackDown.

Before Ciampa required surgery, the plan was for him to wrestle Gargano in a 2 out of 3 falls match at Takeover New York for the NXT Championship. Adam Cole will now replace Ciampa. It might be in WWE’s best interest to keep Gargano in NXT instead of letting his momentum get lost on 205 Live.

– WWE likes to book the entire roster on their WrestleMania cards and they have done so by using Battle Royals. With the show just over a week away, we know those involved in the sixth Andre The Giant Battle Royal and the second Women’s Battle Royal.

Some interesting names on the men’s side include top names like previous winner Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, Braun Strowman and two guys from Saturday Night Live. Missing, are the tag team champions from RAW and SmackDown; which be an indication that might be booked in another match.

Below is the current list of participants for both Battle Royals.

Womne’s Battle Royal: Asuka, Carmella, Naomi, Lana, Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville, Nikki Cross, Dana Brooke, Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan, Sarah Logan, Mickie James and Zelina Vega.

Andre The Giant Battle Royal: Colin Jost, Michael Che, Braun Strowman, Andrade, Apollo Crews, Titus O’Neil, Tyler Breeze, Jinder Mahal, No Way Jose, Bobby Roode, Chad Gable, Kalisto, Gran Metalik, Lince Dorado, Bo Dallas, Curtis Axel, Heath Slater, Rhyno, Viktor, Konnor, Ali, Shelton Benjamin, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, Otis, Tucker, EC3.
